Ecuador is fully open for travel.

Access into Ecuador

Entry into the country is allowed by air travel into both international airports, Quito (UIO) and Guayaquil (GYE). Travelers from most parts of the world may enter the country by following the requirements listed below.

Entry Requirements

Travelers may enter Ecuador only on their passports. This applies to both mainland Ecuador and Galapagos.

• Please note that travelers may still be requested to complete and present this form when boarding the plane for their journey to Ecuador.

Additional requirements for Galapagos:

• For Galapagos, fill out the Transit Control Card online, before flying to Ecuador and pick up the TCT at the airport (non-COVID related).

*Please note that travelers will still be scanned for fever and/or other COVID-related symptoms, and they may be subject to a rapid antigen test.

*Although not compulsory, wearing masks is still a suggestion, especially in public areas, with high pedestrian traffic.

*At some places, hand sanitation, temperature checks or even disinfection chambers upon arrival might still be a possibility.
