Day 1 - Arrive Madrid

Day 2 - Madrid
Indulge in Madrid’s superb art offerings as you explore your choice of two of the three “Golden Triangle” galleries that the city is famous for.
Start with a visit to one of the world’s greatest art museums, the Museo del Prado (Prado Museum). Founded in the early 19th century, initially to house the paintings collected by
the kings of Spain, Afterwards, continue to either the Reina Sofia National Art Centre (closed on Tuesdays) or the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. (5 hours, driver and guide)

Day 3 - Madrid - Segovia - Madrid
Head out of Madrid and travel through the Sierra de Guadarrama mountain range to explore one of Castile y Leon’s most enchanting cities, Segovia. Explore this

Day 6 - Alcazar De San Juan - Caceres
Today we delve into the heart of La Mancha, a land of deep traditions and renowned flavors. After breakfast, we visit a craft cheese factory and a winery, where we’ll uncover the
soul of this region’s celebrated products. Following a local-flavored lunch, we head to Campo de Criptana, with its iconic windmills, the very ones that inspired Cervantes in the
adventures of Don Quixote.

Day 7 - Caceres - Merida - Jerez
Breakfast on board welcomes us to Cáceres, a magical World Heritage City, where medieval streets, squares, and palaces transport us to another era. Culture and legend permeate
every stone. We then continue to Mérida, where we enjoy lunch before visiting this ancient Roman capital, founded in 25 BC. Theaters, temples, and aqueducts remind us of the
might of Rome in Iberia.

Day 8 - Jerez De La Frontera
Enjoy Jerez and a truly unique performance: “How the Andalusian Horses Dance,” an elegant equestrian ballet accompanied by Spanish music. Jerez seduces us with its tradition
and charm. After lunch in a local restaurant, we visit one of the region’s most prestigious wineries, where we’ll discover how this Denomination of Origin wine is crafted.

Day 9 - Jerez - Cadiz - Cordoba
Travel in a luxury coach to radiant Cádiz, known as the “Silver Cup.” Regarded as the oldest city in the Western world, its narrow streets and open squares invite us to get lost in its
history, sea breeze, and joyful soul. Back on the train, we enjoy lunch onboard as we head to Córdoba, another gem of the journey. We visit its world-famous Mosque-Cathedral,
a majestic monument that tells the story of the former caliphate capital, a city that was once Europe’s most cultured and opulent.

Day 10 - Cordoba - Seville - End of Train
After breakfast, we arrive in Seville, city of light, art, and passion. With the largest historic center in Spain and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Seville bids us farewell with
a visit full of charm: fragrant gardens, historic streets, and monuments that touch the soul. We conclude our Al Ándalus adventure around 13:30h in Seville.

Day 11 - Seville
A melting pot of historic cultures and influences, Seville is one of Spain’s most fascinating and exciting cities. During this half-day walking tour, your expert guide helps you to
discover how these diverse periods in history have shaped Seville into the city it is today. Begin your tour with a visit to the Alcazar, a magnificent 14th-century Mudejar palace that
is one of the oldest royal residences in Europe still in use today. Enjoy a walk through the Barrio de Santa Cruz, a maze of narrow streets, whitewashed houses and charming small
squares. Finally, visit the 15th-century cathedral, one of the most breath-taking in all of Christendom, and see La Giralda, Seville's most famous monument. This Moorish tower
was erected as a minaret in the 12th century (4 hours, walking guide) No visit to Seville would be complete without watching a performance of the region’s famous Flamenco. This
evening, transfer by private vehicle to Tablao El Arenal for an authentic Flamenco show performed in a building dating from the 17th century with typical Andalusian architecture and
decoration. Enjoy a complimentary beverage as you watch the mesmerising dancers clapping and moving to the rhythm of the distinctive folklore music. After the show, transfer
back to your hotel by private vehicle. (Up to 1.5 hrs)

Day 12 - Seville
This morning’s cooking class embodies the spirit of Seville and teaches you how to prepare mouth-watering cuisine in a fun and friendly environment, whatever your skillset. This
private Andalusian cooking class begins with you perusing the stalls at Triana Market, where your host helps you to choose your fresh ingredients. Head back to the kitchen to don
your apron and learn the secrets of preparing a typical Andalusian menu. You assist with creating delicious dishes starting with a Seasonal appetizer, follow by Chickpeas with
spinach seasoned with cumin, garlic and sweet smoked paprika, gambas al ajillo(garlic-infused shrimps), chicken paella and a dessert. At the end of this engaging class, it is time
to relax and enjoy the fruits of your labour. Afterwards, you are privately transferred back to your hotel. (Up to 5 hours, private chef and private transfers/taxi transfers).
