Day 1 - Arrive San Francisco

Arrive in San Francisco and drive to your nearby hotel.

Located in San Francisco’s historic Haslett Warehouse, the Argonaut Hotel blends exposed brick and Douglas fir beams to envelop guests in its Gold Rush-era aesthetic. Enjoy generously sized rooms and suites and a prime location on the Bay, offering stunning views. Day 2 - San Francisco

Meet your private guide in the lobby of your hotel for a half-day City tour of San Francisco. Your guide will take you to the sights that have made San Francisco everyone's favorite city: Union Square, North Beach, Chinatown, Golden Gate Park, the Crookedest Street in The World (Lombard Street), Coit Tower & Telegraph Hill, Fisherman's Wharf, the Presidio, Haight-Ashbury, and the Victorian homes at Alamo Square. This tour is completely customizable to fit your interests.

This evening, sail in the San Francisco Bay with a shared 2-hour Catamaran boat cruise during sunset. See some of the Bay’s most popular attractions up close and personal as you sail around Alcatraz Island, directly underneath the Golden Gate Bridge and head back admiring the city’s famed skyline. Catch a glimpse of marine wildlife including pelicans and sea lions.

Day 3 - San Francisco-Yosemite National Park

Check out of your hotel and drive four hours to Yosemite National Park.

Tenaya Lodge is a AAA Four-Diamond resort located two miles from Yosemite National Park's south entrance. Day 4 - Yosemite National Park

You’ll start your day with a drive through the valley floor, taking in views of the stunning valley, hearing the calls of the wildlife, and seeing points of interest such as El Capitan, Yosemite Falls, and Half Dome Village. Your afternoon will include a drive through the high country along Tioga Pass or Glacier Point road (road status may impact your itinerary) with plenty of time to take in open views and explore the alpine meadows and lakes. Walks will be tailored to you and may include open views, flowing waterfalls, and walks underneath massive and beautiful trees. As you breathe in the deep air, your guide will share fascinating information about the park’s flora, fauna, and history. Along the way, you’ll enjoy a packed lunch.

Day 5 - Yosemite National Park

In the late morning, enjoy a two hour private trail ride through Vista Pass. You will travel along a mountain trail surrounding by towering pines, lush alpine meadows, while traversing Rainier Creek several times, before capturing a panoramic view of Yosemite.

Day 6 - Yosemite National Park-Monterey

Check out of your hotel and drive 3 hours to Moss Landing.

Meet your guide in Moss Landing on Monterey Bay for a private guided kayak excursion. The Elkhorn Slough is abundant with life ranging from minute creatures to harbor seals, otters and an array of shorebirds. The Slough, protected from the large swells of the Monterey Bay, is a perfect introduction to sea kayaking and marine wildlife.

L’Auberge Carmel is a full-service Relais & Châteaux property located in the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea just blocks from the famed Carmel Beach. Originally built in 1929, the historic hotel is known for its graceful architecture, personalized guest services, European-style and elegance. Day 7 - Monterey

This morning, visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium, a world-famous facility with many displays, including the 28-foot tall Kelp Forest, one of the tallest aquarium exhibits in the world. You will get a behind the scenes and diver's eye view of sardines, leopard sharks, wolf-eels, and a host of other fish as they weave through swaying fronds of kelp, just like they do in the wild. After your tour, explore the rest of the Aquarium.
