Start with a visit to Kabuki Cho the world’s safest “red light” district and then its off for some “food for thought” winding your way through Gold-gai, the bustling back lanes lined with Izakayas, the distinctive micro pubs and bars where wine, whiskey, and savory snacks complete this evening adventure.

18:00: Meet your guide at your hotel and transfer to Shinjuku (approximately 40 minutes)
You begin in Kabuki Cho sampling the many snack stalls and local pubs that color the “red” in this district – both Kabuki Cho and Golden-gai are renowned for their quirky food stalls that serve up the distinctive and delectable nighttime snacks for which Tokyo is famed.
Following your food foray take a 10-minute walk to the sacred Hanazono Shrine (10 minutes on foot), a sacred 17th century Shinto Shrine that blesses and protects all who visit.
Your evening ends with a stroll through the Golden-gai stopping to sample the savory snacks that make this Tokyo’s most popular nighttime escape.
