Upon arrival at Amsterdam airport, meet your Guardian Angel and transfer in the comfort of your own private vehicle to your hotel where you are assisted with check-in.

Spring is a wonderful time to visit Amsterdam as the locals embrace the al fresco living and start to use the café terraces. With the arrival of longer spring days, the trees and flowers start to blossom, filling the city with colour.

Day 3 - Keukenhof Gardens

Enjoy a half-day excursion to the flower growing area around Keukenhof.  Spring's the season to catch the Netherlands' version of the greatest show on Earth: the bulb fields in bloom. Bulb season in the Netherlands begins in late March - if the weather is seasonable - and continues through much of May.

On the grounds of the Neo-Gothic castle that is de Keukenhof lie the famous Keukenhof Gardens, home to strikingly colourful fields of tulips, daffodils and hyacinths. Stroll through the gardens admiring the spectacular showcase of flowers where professional bulb growers have used their skill and imagination to create this world-famous attraction. The gardens cover a total area of 70 acres with as many as 6 million bulbs in bloom. Your driver and guide take the most scenic route to and from the gardens. (4 hours, driver and guide)

Day 4 - Zaanse Schans, Volendam & Marken

Enjoy a full-day sightseeing excursion (8 hours) into the countryside outside Amsterdam with your private vehicle and English-speaking guide.  Start your day with a visit to the Zaanse Schans Open-Air Museum housing buildings, which have been painstakingly moved here from all over the Zaan region. See clog-making demonstrations, discover how the famous Dutch cheeses are produced and watch pottery being hand-painted as in Delft.

Later, visit the beautiful villages of Marken and Volendam, two traditional fishing villages, which have retained their typical Dutch character. Cosy tea shops, small, private museums and fishing boats set you back in time before returning back to your hotel in Amsterdam.
