About Akorn UK & Ireland
From our centrally-located base in the Cotswold Hills in the West of England, the Akorn UK & Ireland team has been designing and operating tours in all parts of England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland for over 20 years. Our well-established network of experienced suppliers permits our guests to explore one area of their choice, or to visit all the constituent regions of the British Isles.
We seek to bring alive the simple things that make Great Britain and Ireland special as destinations. When we design tours, we aim to mix visits to famous sites with activities that participants of all ages will enjoy - we can incorporate sites associated with Harry Potter, book a tour of Dublin by amphibious vehicle, or take time to enjoy a 'fish and chips' meal in a favourite country pub. From our extensive list of contacts, we are able to arrange out-of-hours events in iconic monuments such as the Tower of London. We also organise exclusive, private activities including helicopter flights over London, malt whisky tastings in Edinburgh, hosted lunches in Irish country houses and falconry displays at a Scottish castle.
