"The Amazing Race" is a reality television show which features teams that race around the world, searching for clues that lead them to their next destination. This inventive itinerary is based on this concept, with teams racing against each other through Livingstone.
Highlights: Livingstone, the Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park.
On arrival in Livingstone the group will have to clear customs and immigration and will have to purchase their multiple entry visas for Zambia.
Once all immigration formalities have been completed the group will proceed into the arrivals terminal and here you will be welcomed by and transferred to the Royal Livingstone.
On arrival at the Royal Livingstone Hotel a royal reception awaits the group. You will be transferred to the Falls entrance and will be escorted down to the Kingfisher Boma. African maidens will welcome you with Zulu love letters and the Sangoma will be on hand to welcome you to Zambia and bless the trip.
A light lunch will be served during which the group will be split into their teams and will receive a briefing. After lunch you will be escorted to the hotel and shown to your rooms where you can freshen up and relax before the race officially begins.
Later this afternoon the teams will meet in the gardens of the hotel where you will receive your first clue. you will then have to find your coach drivers and direct them to the Waterfront you must find an “African Princess” – she will hand over another clue which will lead you to the African Princess for a superb sundowner cruise.
After the sundowner cruise return to the hotel and freshen up for dinner. Therewill be surprise outfits waiting for you which you have to wear this evening.
Meet in the reception area where you will be startled by African warriors performing a tribal dance before escorting you down to the Boma where a true African feast awaits.
A marimba band will play and tonight's challenge will be for each team to learn a traditional dance move from one of the local dancers. You will perform this dance for the judges and the winning team earns the right to the first clue and the right to depart first the following morning.

"Livingstone’s Amazing Race" begins in earnest this morning. The winning team from the previous evening will be the first to depart.
"David Livingstone" will hand over the first clue and start the day's racing. This morning the group will be visiting the Falls to look for the second clue. Once teams find the clue it could perhaps lead to having to perform a task or transferring to another location.
After visiting the Falls the rest of the day’s adventure continues with activities such as a gorge swing, bungy jumping, flying fox or abseiling.
There will also be a few less strenuous but no less fun activities such as traditional archery or dry fishing for sausage tree fruit – frustration can creep in very quickly when you have a team member with shaky hands.
All of the above activities are in and around the Falls area.
Lunch today will be served at the Zambezi Sun. There will be the chance to have a swim during lunch.
In Africa, when you hear drumming in the distance, you know there is something happening. Tonight you will get the chance to beat your own drums at an ”interactive drumming circle” which will take place at the Zambezi Sun. Dinner tonight will be served in the conference room at the Zambezi Sun and entertainment will be provided by a local band. Once dinner has been eaten and it is completely dark outside after-dinner cocktails will be accompanied by a fire spinning show.
NOTE:
Not all team members would be required to participate in every activity – some team members might prefer softer activities and some of the adrenaline activities are not for everyone.
The race would be designed in such a way so that the entire team would be able to participate and have fun but would only do what they felt they were capable of doing.

After lunch you will proceed down to the jetty to board boats for a River Safari.
Return to Mowana in the late afternoon for sundowner drinks before transferring back to the border post to clear immigration, to board the speedboat and cross back over into Zambia.
When you get back to the Royal Livingstone tonight a pith helmet or a white silk scarf will have been left in your room.
The group must don these costumes and dinner will be served on the lawns under the trees on the banks of the Zambezi River. Entertainment tonight will be a classical flautist.

After lunch canoe back to the “mainland” where a group of elephants will be waiting. There will be time for private elephant interaction.
Return to the hotel in the afternoon and in early evening teams will gather for the final task. Transfer to the Victoria Falls Bride for a quick sundowner. A red carpet with waiters dressed in colonial uniforms and sparkling wine awaits you upon arrival at the train.
The train will stop on the Victoria Falls Bridge for a maximum of ten minutes. During this time you can alight from the train onto the bridge to take pictures. The train will return to Palm Grove where coaches await to transfer you to a magnificent “Bush Dinner”.
