DETAILS

FULL LENGTH TOUR DESCRIPTION
Depart the quayside and travel by coach in a northerly direction along the national highway. The journey ends on arrival at Memorial Gate, where a short comfort stop is made before changing over into the open vehicles.

Your unforgettable adventure tour in the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game reserve now begins. The reserve preserves not only the wildlife of Zululand but also something of the indefinable charm and tradition of the natural surroundings, one of the most fascinating parts of Africa. The reserve has become well known for its small population of the rare, white rhino. In addition to rhino, the reserve has a spectacular variety of bird and animal life, including elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, blue wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, cheetah, mountain reedbuck, kudu and warthog. During an open-vehicle game drive, we hope to encounter many of these beautiful animals close up.

A buffet lunch will be served at the scenic Hilltops Restaurant, overlooking the rolling green hills of the National Park. After lunch, return to Memorial Gate, looking-out for game en route. At Memorial Gate, re-board your coach and transfer back to the quayside at Richards Bay.
