The gothic and renaissance city walls, over a mile in length, are a masterpiece of architecture. Continue to the Dominican Monastery, one of Dubrovnik's most important architectural complexes. The Dominicans established their monastery here in 1225 and the church is one of the largest gothic buildings on the east Adriatic coast. Visit the Rector's Palace, which was the residence of the Dubrovnik's Republic Rector; the Palace was built in a mixture of Gothic and Renaissance styles.

Enjoy lunch in Restaurant Arsenal, situated in the historical centre of Dubrovnik on the site of a historic shipyard, There are fine sea views and of the old port which contains anchored replicas of sailing ships from Dubrovnik's rich maritime history.

After lunch you will continue your day in maritime style. Traditional Dubrovnik galleons will wait for you in the city harbor right in front of the restaurant. You will be welcomed aboard by the Pirate captain, who will escort you during your cruise and recount stories from Dubrovnik's past. Enjoy fine views of Dubrovnik's city walls before anchoring at Lokrum where the afternoon program will take place.

Afternoon Pirate Challenge
You will be greeted at Lokrum by your Pirate hosts who will guide you through this afternoon's challenge, providing hints and safety reminders. Based on the instructions in your handbook, you will need to divide into three teams and complete a challenge.

Challenges are:

-  Discoverers: will have to go around the island and collect the missing information through some clues to be discovered along the route. Each clue will give you a piece of the map and each piece will result in a number of points.
-  Capos: will have to build a boat out of cardboard, paper and wood. The boat has to be strong enough to hold two people. The winner of this particular challenge is determined by a boat race at the end of the event.
-  Gunsmiths: will have to make weapons for their Pirate mission. The weapon today is a catapult: Your team will receive materials (wood, screws, blueprint, rubber belts and building equipment) to complete the task. Shooting at the target at the end of the event will determine the winner of this challenge.

The combined score of Discoverers, Capos and Gunsmiths will determine the final winner to be announced at dinner this evening.

Following your Pirate Challenge, transfer back to your hotel to freshen up for the evening.

Evening Gala dinner in the gardens of Castle Sorkocevic
Early this evening, rejoin your galleons and sail to Dubrovnik Marina and Castle Sorkocevic. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and entertained by a Renaissance music and dance ensemble. Dinner will be held in the gardens. Later this evening the night will continue in a more modern style and a local band will entertain until late into the night.
