On arrival at Shimansky Rockwell in Cape Town, guests will enjoy a welcome drink followed by an exclusive, personally guided tour. Learn about the history of diamonds in South Africa, the rock formations they were found in, view replicas of famous diamonds and learn more about their history. Guest will be able to see first-hand how the diamond polishers and craftsmen transform ethically sourced rough diamonds into beautiful stones - a process that requires precision and science.
Our behind-the-scenes Insider Access, will afford guests the opportunity to sit in the seat of the diamond polishers and polish a rough diamond themselves - a unique experience not offered anywhere else in the world. Thereafter they will enjoy a private tasting pairing of wine and chocolate, gin and chocolate, coffee and chocolate or a whiskey tasting. A private shopping experience awaits, as guests may walk through the showroom of incredible pieces of jewellery or meet with an onsite designer to create a unique piece of jewellery.
